jolandad said... The gondola / high tea combo was a good value deal for a unique celebration with overseas family (especially the 2pm deal through bookme) . Despite the top of the mountain being completely clouded in (no one can control mountain weather) we really enjoyed the feel of the space and the set up. Staff was attentive, quick to take our drinks order (huge pots of tea to keep you going and a good variety) and quick to deliver our high tea. It was a nice mix of savoury and sweet and everything (except the scones) tasted fresh and delicious. Only room for improvement in my view was the balance of savoury vs sweet and the number of items. Being a party of 4 adults and a child we were served two identical trays, so felt like there wasn't enough items to share for each and every one of us.
