Sealink provide very simple process to acces Ferry to Waiheke. The only place to upgrade is the return ferry booking; it will be a lotA lot if there is a website to do the booking instead of the ring in manual service. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the service.
Good experience, easy and convenient! Had a great time at Waiheke.
It was cool being able to walk among the pheasants and even feed them. Charlie and Queenie, the cockatoos are quite the attraction! Charlie's quite a clever talker :) After the current phase of upgrades it'll be even better. Thanks Andrew for an informative and pleasant tour.
The boat is always on time, inside of the cabin is warm and there's a coffee shop with delicious things to pass the time if you want to. Very friendly and helpful staff! Awesome!
Great trip, always on time
A must do when in auckland. Amazing views.
Wonderful experience. Staff friendly and helpful.
Booked through Bookme and then had to call Sealink which was fine - received good customer service. A bit of a runaround at the terminal. All was sorted fairly easily - we just had to show the Bookme confirmation as well as the Sealink confirmation email. So make sure you are aware of this when booking through Bookme. Other than that, well organised in terms of getting cars on and off. Good cafe and aircon and upper deck on the larger ferry. Obviously a good trip with good views on a sunny day.
Awesome place, both my kids loved it and have asked to go back.
Great morning out for my kids (2 and 4) they loved exploring all the different cottages. They enjoyed being able to feed the chickens and help churn the cream during the butter making demonstration and then trying some on crackers. They had stilts which was fun for the children and adults.
It was absolutely lovely, a beautiful time to walk with our family and see the different houses, tents and everything, heaps of details to see and enjoy there. We went with our baby who is almost 2 he had so much fun too! Definitely coming back. There's a picnic area too with a good shadow if you want to have a break.
Remind me so much about home/ my childhood every was amazing highly recommended
Lovely village that takes you back in time ๐ My toddler stuck her nose in every little house and chicken feeding was a bonus! A must visit when you live around the area
Overall good experience, kids enjoyed it so that was a bonus๐just wish we had more of the big houses open as we found the big house to be very fascinating esp for the kids.
Definitely go to one of the LIVE DAY. It is like walking into history. Loved it! So much things to do and see.
A visit to the nicely priced cafe was first. Next we went out side into very hot temperature to wander around the village. A woman at the office had shown us a map with the toilets marked. Theses were very clean. I took a few photos of the school rooms and noticed the water wheel was no longer turning. More weeds than previously. However a great conversation with the butter maid and a final jaunt in Michael Fords cottage. Several children were enjoying stilts on another lawn.

Must visit and experience
Great way to spend the day with family, it was pleasantly different and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely try to visit on one of the live days to get the most of the experience!
Beautiful place, good way to spend time with family.
Great experience for me and my toddler today. Nice and quiet but exceptionally well run venue to experience. Very interactive. Felt particularly safe being outdoors during covid
We visited Howick Historical Village on a Sunday morning with our 8 months old baby. The place was well kept, with lots of information to read through and the walk around the village was enjoyable and picturesque. There are some optional activities like bread making and a place for kids to draw etc. The weather was not on our side and it rained a bit but there are large umbrellas available to enjoy the experience anyways. It would be a great place to come back to when our son is a little bit older and pack a lunch to enjoy it outdoors in the picnic area.
I rented an e-bike for 2 days and think that that's a good enough time to really explore the island on your own pace. Definitely rent an e-bike and not a typical pushbike if you want to explore all around - as there are a lot of hills on the island! The viewtops are spectacular and great picnic spots. The bike was also easy to use and I was able to have it overnight and borrow a charger to use it again the following day. Joaco was awesome and provided a map and tips for a lot of great places to see. Will try to do again with visiting friends in the future!
If you'd like to do a tour on Waiheke I definitely recommend this one! Visiting 3 beautiful vineyards and at end heaps of BBQ bites!
Such a good time! Each winery was very different (which is great) but everyone was so lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend!
