Absolutely loved our trail ride. The track they take you on has beautiful views of the mountains and the local landscape. The horses were very friendly and well trained which made the experience perfect for first time riders. Highly recommend this trek as a great fun way to see the sights. Would 100% do again.
But I loved the ride. My horse was named Bandit. I suppose it still is. He was a bit stubborn at times, but not impossibly so. He seemed like a gentle soul who sometimes just liked his way. He would turn left when the other horses went right. I suppose I may have been a bit timid with the reins, but I do think he just liked his way. I would definitely recommend the ride to anyone. The guides seem to genuinely love their work. It is beautiful country with the glaciers in the background. I would do it again.
The horses were really mellow and our lead was experienced and made everyone feel confident.
Simple acitivity. Horse good training, time too short and just riding a walking horse, not clear about guide explaination during riding because distance too far for 5 people group.
