Experience a unique deer farm tour and delicious venison BBQ lunch at Manakau’s Deer Story Museum.
Be in awe of these majestic creates as your guide drives you through the established deer farm and see mobs of Stags, Hinds and Fawns in their natural environment.
During the summer our stags grow velvet, a covering of hair on the antlers during its phase of rapid growth. You’ll be amazed at the sheer size of the antlers which adorn the stags head.
Following your farm tour you'll get to enjoy a mouth watering BBQ Lunch using only the finest venison meat, grown locally on the farm. Our venison is gluten and dairy free, rich in protein, low in saturated fat and above all else is totally tantalising to the taste buds.
This package also includes entry to the museum where you’ll get to learn about the fascinating history of deer in New Zealand.

Interesting Tour and Museum
The tour wasn't what we expected, but it was still really fun. My wife and I were the only ones on the tour and we were taken around the farm by the owner in the back of his truck. We didn't mind though and he went as slow as we wanted and he answered all of our questions and explained the history as we took pictures of the different deer. The venison burger was really good and the museum was really interesting!

헛탕치고 돌아옴.
당일 아침에 2시 예약을 하고 시간에 맞춰 사슴농장에 장시간 운전 끝에 도착했다. 하지만 우리를 투어해 줄 직원들이 퇴근한 후에(예약이 없어 보냈다는?) 'book me'에서 농장으로 예약이 있다고 연락이 왔다며, 이 상품을 이용할 수 없다고 했다. 그리고 그 사실을 농장 매니저는 'book me'에 전했다고 한다. 우리는 이미 결제도 마치고 스케줄을 짜고 움직이며 여행을 하고 있는건데, 한국에서는 있을 수 없는 황당한 해프닝 그 자체였다. 취소나 변경에 대한 전화나 이메일은 커녕 후기를 작성하라는 메일을 받았다. 카드 환불을 요청해야하는데 상당히 번거롭고 화가난다. 하지만 농장 매니저는 친절했다.
