Head to Kaitoke Regional Park, a beautiful thousand year old, temperate rain forest and the Rivendell backdrop. Immerse yourself, grab Insta-worthy pics, and visit Fords of Isen where you can visit an 800-year-old native Rimu tree and learn about New Zealand's native plants. Take a picture in front of the Rivendell Gate Tower which is the only Lord of the Rings replica structure in the whole of New Zealand excluding Hobbiton. Explore Harcourt Park's Gardens of Isengard, catch Gandalf and Saruman's meeting spot, and follow the Orc path in Fangorn Forest.

Perfect Day

The day was just amazing. Robbie and Andrew were perfect guides having fun on the tour and talking about the subjects. Seeing the filming locations and learning about the scene making was super cool. The insights into the weta workshop are incredible especially for LotR fans but in general for anybody who like fantasy, sci-fi or horror movies.
