Loved our steak dinner at the Fat Cow. Delicious! The Parmesan and truffle oil wedges were certainly a step up from hot chips. Prawn entrees was also finger licking good too. Well done chefs!

Tasty food for husband's birthday
Really tasty food. We shared a platter which was spoilt by a stale roll which was very small. The Bird pinot gris (Gisborne) was very disappointing. Unfortunately the more expensive Roaring Meg PG from Central Otago was sold out. Seats a bit hard. Nice to see desserts not on other menus. Over all a nice night out.

Having to order your meal from a tablet, ruins the experience of going out for dinner. It also messes with timings... we were asked if they could clear our starter plates for our mains, when we were barely half way through the starters! As we'd ordered steak, we had to then hurry the rest of our starters so the steaks wouldn't over cook while waiting. Disappointed. We use to hold this restaurant in much higher regard. The tablets changed that opinion!

Food and Service Fabulous Thanksss
First time at Fat Cow ever. Early dinner Staff very helpful we ordered from tablet from table Wow..... when the food came we were pleasantly surprised Ample delicious food cooked superbly Half rack ribs 300gm Sirloin steak Absolutely would recomend to anyone and we will come again when visiting Mt Maunganui again !!! Many Thanks Gals and Guys !
