Join us for a fun day out at Tay Street learning to catch that perfect wave with a small group of eager learners. Our Tay Street Small-Group Surf Lesson is perfect for beginners who want to learn with others & get specific tips along the way. Having a small group lesson allows the instructors to make this lesson more personalized to each individual.

We'll start the day with a 20-minute beach theory, where you'll learn ocean safety, paddling and pop-up. Then we'll get out in the water, get positioned with our small waves, and have some serious fun. Before you know it, you'll be popping up on the waves with a huge smile on your face.

Our qualified instructors are certified in first aid and have lifeguard qualifications so you can be confident and feel safe while having fun.

All equipment is included. You'll get a soft-top board and a wetsuit perfectly fitted for you.

  • Please Note: Lessons require a minimum of 2 passengers to go ahead - single bookings are wait-listed to confirm.

    Please bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen and water.
