Combine the Te Anau Glowworm Caves and a 2-hour Nature cruise in Milford Sound with this Super Saver!
These activities do not operate on the same day and there is no accommodation or transport included in this package deal.
Day One: Check in at 1:40PM for a 2pm departure at the RealNZ Visitor Centre in Te Anau and spend 2 hours 15 getting to know the weird and wonderful world of the Glowworms! Our entertaining guides will take you through the life-cycle and all the need-to-know information at Cavern House before heading into the caves themselves to wander past waterfalls and float through the living galaxy.
Please note: this tour is not suitable for children younger than 5. There is uneven ground through the caves, please contact us directly if anyone in your group has difficulty walking.
Day Two: Take the scenic drive to Milford Sound; please allow up to 2.5 hours for this journey. You will check in at 10:10am for a 10:30 departure (from 3rd May 2021 check in will be 10:30am for an 11am departure) on your Milford Sound Cruise. Head off on a 2-hour journey along towering cliff faces and feel the glacial spray from the rushing waterfalls. As you cruise out to the Tasman Sea, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife that may pop by to say hello!
Please note: Transport is not included, you must drive yourself to Milford Sound Visitor Centre. If you wish to purchase food on-board the cruise, please be sure to bring cash. Parking in Milford Sound is subject to fees set by the National Park.
Itinerary
- Day 1: 2pm Glowworm Caves Departure from RealNZ in Te Anau.
- Day 1: 4:15pm Arrive back from Glowworm Caves.
- Day 2: 10:30am Departure on Milford Nature Cruise from Milford Sound Visitor Centre. From 3rd May 2021 check in will be 10:30am for an 11am departure on your Milford Sound Cruise.
- Day 2: 12:30pm Arrive back to Milford Sound Visitor Centre from Nature Cruise. From 3rd May 2021 arrive back at 1pm.

Incredible Experience
My family and I had an incredible experience at the Glowworm Caves and Milford Sound. The information given my the guides and scenery was exceptional.

NZ Must do activities
Glow worm caves were great, awesome ride over to the island where the caves are. ven though it was a cold and wet winter day, the Milford sounds were magnificent.

Milford sound and Glowworm
The Glowworm is fantastic with the guided walk and boat trip. Milford is majestic, the guide is knowledgeable and shared very insightful information.
