Starting with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Te Anau, we start the journey on the renowned Milford Road taking in all the beauty of Fiordland National Park with plenty of photo stops along the way.

The hike itself is a feast for the senses, starting with an easy stroll alongside cascading waterfalls and continuing through lush forests of fuchsia, ribbonwood, and beech trees.

We pause mid-journey at a scenic stop where you'll be fueled up by a delicious morning tea with fresh baking, surrounded by nature. The hike to Lake Marian and back takes approximately 5 hours, allowing ample time to soak in the stunning lake views and explore its southern shore.
