This unforgettable journey combines an extended helicopter flight featuring two incredible landings with a guided hike through the stunning Kepler Track.

We depart from Te Anau starting the adventure with a stunning scenic helicopter flight. From your unique perspective you'll feast your eyes on breathtaking aerial views of Lake Te Anau and hidden alpine lakes only visible from above.

Your first landing on Mt Maury will leave you in awe, with panoramic vistas stretching across the rugged peaks and tranquil valleys of Fiordland.

We then head to Luxmore Hut where you'll enjoy a delicious morning tea with fresh baking surrounded by alpine beauty. Your knowledgeable guide lead you through the landscape, providing fascinating insights of the area as you take in the breathtaking views.

We then traverse along the ridge line with expansive views before descending through lush native forests filled with beech trees, ferns, and vibrant birdlife, finishing the journey with a scenic boat ride across Lake Te Anau back to the town centre.

  • Guided Hike: 8.5km one way, 800m descent.

  • Please Note: All of our hikes take place in alpine environments where the weather can change quickly, so you must be prepared with suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
