Starting at the beginning with a lovely, child friendly welcome at reception, the Waitomo Troll Cave experience is really a thrilling, fun and interactive adventure for the kids. Once venturing off to the cave itself, the scares started early before the children even got inside (mild, but fun!!) Peter really makes this whole experience - his story telling, his interaction with the kids, the mild adult humour, Peter is clearly someone who is both passionate and loves what he does. The experience itself was better for our 10 and 13 year old (just the scary parts...) however, the 5, 7 and 8 year old raved about it the entire way home and nearing the end. Easily the best escape room experience we have taken our children through and us 3 adults loved it just as much. The water, the lights, the tunnels within the cave are awesomely believable for the children and the whole thing is certainly a value for money experience. All happy girls on the drive home already asking for their next visit.
