We enjoyed The Hunting Lodge escape room. Took us a while to get into it as found the participants in the adjacent room very noisy and distracting which I have never encountered before doing an escape room. Could be solved with a roof being added to the first room).
Enjoyed the storyline (not scary - just a murder mystery).
Not claustrophobic at all.
Found a couple of the steps a bit obscure and wouldn't have finished without the cheat help - or possibly actually more collaboration / sharing of clues found etc.
Nice staff - very relaxed.
Keen to try another room when next in Taupo.
