Photography: Personalised photos are provided to clients via internet at no extra charge. No client photography equipment is permitted. Please inquire if you require a private photography tour.
Fitness Test: If the guide on the day has any doubt about a client’s fitness they may ask them to prove it by completing a fitness test. One quick and simple test we may use is “to step up and down a 20 cm (8 inches) step not less than 45 times in 60 seconds”. We strongly recommend clients complete this test before they book their activity and before they travel to Waitomo. Clients may also be requested to submit to breath-testing for alcohol or other drugs. Where appropriate, guides may at their sole discretion cancel a departure or remove an unsuitable client from a departing trip for any safety-related reason.

Hey Chantel I guess this was just your lucky day - I'm so pleased you could be the recipient of this major upgrade :) We recognise that people have often gone to a lot of trouble to get to Waitomo... ...so for weather affected days, have a policy of providing a free upgrade to an alternative activity (where this is possible). At least this way we still get to show you some of our amazing underground playground. Thanks for coming to visit !

Immer wieder ein riesen Vergnügen!
Wunderbare Tour mit unserem Guide Harrison, bei der wir das Glück hatten nur zu zweit zu sein und daher zu entscheiden wie genau die Tour aussehen soll. Wir konnten uns durch ganz viele Engstellen zwängen (hätte man auch umgehen können), einen Teil der Höhle komplett im dunklen erkunden, rückwärts ins Wasser hüpfen und natürlich die, in dieser Höhle besonders vielen und nahen, Glowworms bewundern! Ich habe die gleiche Tour (Blackwater Rafting TTT) bei diesem Anbieter vor 10 Jahren schonmal gemacht - inzwischen gibt es viel mehr Anbieter, aber ich werde nächstes Mal auch wieder zu Waitomo Adventures gehen :) Ps: wer sich auch durch maximal enge Spalten zwängen möchte: fragt nach "Tighter"

Sehr cooles Abenteuer
Auf jeden Fall besser als die mehr oder weniger Touriausbeuter Bootstour. Nicht, dass die unbedingt schlecht ist, aber preisleistungstechnisch auf jeden Fall unschlagbar. Kleine Gruppe von 4 Leuten gehabt und 2 coole Guides dabei. Dazu noch ein paar nette Fotos. Das Klettern und Toobing im Dunkeln mit den Glühwürmchen war unglaublich. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, sehr cooles Abenteuer!

Wundervolles Erlebnis! Allein schon die Fahrt zur Höhle war lustig durch die Erzählungen des Fahrers. Unser Guide war sehr nett und hat uns viel über die Glühwürmchen und Höhlenformationen erzählt. Die Glühwürmchen waren wunderschön

Lost World
Ich habe eigentlich die Black Water rafting Tour gebucht, welche aber aufgrund des Regens nicht stattfinden konnte. Als Alternative habe ich ein kostenloses Upgrade zu der 4h lost World Tour bekommen. Ich war absolut begeistert. Zu Beginn seilt man sich 100m in die Höhle ab, was schon eine einmalige Erfahrung war. Die Höhlen zu erkunden war auch echt spannend und wir hatten einen super Guide!!
