Get out of the concrete jungle and take a beautiful scenic drive approximately 20 minutes out of the city to The Landing Café.

Tucked away on the lakefront, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better view meaning there will be plenty of “instagrammable” food shots to be taken!

Between 5pm - 8pm choose two courses from the extensive menu which includes (but is not limited to) some iconic favourites including:

STARTER:

Seafood Chowder - Fresh Fish, Mussels, prawn and Vegetable creamy soup served with garlic bread

Asian Style Spring Rolls - Handmade beef and vegetable spring rolls Served with sweet chilli sauce and Indonesian Soy-sauce (Choice of Vegetarian)

Tiger Prawns - Creamy garlic sauce OR Thai Sweet Chilli and Capsicum OR Battered with lemon and aioli

Pan fried Scallops - Cooked in a rich mornay sauce served with rice

MAIN:

Landing’s Lamb Rack - Fresh NZ lamb rack infused with rosemary, cooked pink with a kiwifruit and mint glaze set upon roasted kumara & wilted green

NZ Venison Cutlets - Char Grilled Venison cooked pink with a cranberry and port wine reduction set upon golden kumara mash with seasonal greens

Prime Pork - Oven baked Prime pork tenderloin wrapped in Smokey bacon with rich cranberry and port reduction resting on parmesan mash and wilted greens

NZ Eye Fillet - Wrapped in smoky bacon topped with rich mushroom sauce resting on dutches potatoes and fresh garden greens

Landings special Chicken Breast - Stuffed chicken breast set upon oven roasted vegetables topped with mushroom sauce

DESSERT:

Landing’s special mixed Berry crumble - Served with Vanilla custard and topped with real fruit Mixed berry Ice-Cream

Continental baked Cheesecake of the day- Served with cream and Ice-cream

Fresh Apple Short-cake - Served with fresh Chantilly cream and creamy custard

Sticky Date and Walnut pudding - Served with Ice-cream and vanilla bean anglaise
