If you want the ULTIMATE skydiving experience then this jump is for you! Our 16,500 ft skydive is a must-do if you want to skydive in New Zealand.

Jump with Taupo Tandem Skydiving, New Zealand’s top rated skydive on TripAdvisor. Plummet at speeds of 200kph above snow-capped volcanoes and pristine Lake Taupo, before catching your breath with a stunning parachute ride back to earth. As a Qualmark endorsed activity, your safety is our number one priority. Experience the adventure with TTS - over 200,000 jumps since 1992!

The beauty of tandem skydiving is that you don’t have to do a thing. Your experienced tandem master will walk you through every step of the way. We provide harnesses, safety goggles and jumpsuits, and even give you a free buff to wear during the jump, which is yours to take away. On arrival you will fill out a waiver form, then our friendly ground crew will run you through all of the available options. Once you have decided on your camera and altitude options it’s time to get geared up and meet your tandem master!

After a short safety briefing, you will board the plane, for a 15-minute scenic flight to altitude. Once at 16,500 ft the door will open and it’s time to jump! After exiting the plane you will freefall at speeds of 200kph for 70 seconds. At 5,000 ft your tandem master will deploy the parachute and you can catch your breath while taking in the stunning views of the Lake Taupo area. Once back on the ground it’s time for a high five – you did it!!

Go for it!

I loved the whole experience. The whole team were welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. A small feedback for the team though - if we can have more padding near the groin area, it will feel less painful while dropping down. Otherwise I really loved the experience and would recommend it to others.

Simply Fantastic

Can’t recommend doing this enough, the team are supportive from beginning to end. The experience itself is fantastic. Be ready for the extreme feeling of jumping out a plane at high altitude but otherwise, bloody brilliant.
