As you sample carefully curated Volcanic Hill wines sourced from different regions in New Zealand, the expert staff will chat with you and help you understand why you like what you like, and you can even purchase a few bottles to take home if you like.

Fab experience
The Gondola ride is smooth and easy, views of Rotorua and the lake are fab. The wine tasting was great, Brent was knowledgable and friendly. Would recommend.

Fabulous experience
The best wine tasting I've ever done. Brent was fabulous - very knowledgeable and hilarious, really made the experience for us. Wine's were absolutely gorgeous and all sitting with a lovely view. Would love to come back and do this again

I think the hosts name was Stephen, what a guy! Made the experience worthwhile to be honest, very knowledgeable and honest. Greta character and a well mannered sense of humour. Glad we went when we did (I.e no school holidays/public holidays) as there were no lines for once, was great.
