    First time

The beginning was confusing as we did not know where to go. The staff were helpful and knowledgable. The kiwis were amazing as we had never seen one before. We loved the birds especially Jenny the Kakapo because when you called her name she came but dont put your fingers through the fence as she is very quick and will nip you as my nephew found out. The kids were disappointed as the log slide ride thing had closed for the day at 3pm. Overall we enjoyed the animals and fish and walking through the forest.

    Amazing Kiwi Enclosure, Lovely Setting

Great park, big splash is awesome for kids. Wildlife is spectacular & the kiwi hatchery amazing. We saw two of the kiwis up close & being very active. Great trout pools, birds & reptiles. Very informative. We paid $30 for the essentials pass which was good value. At the full price of $60 it would have been a bit overrated for us New Zealanders but probably ok overseas tourists. Actually really nice coffee (Supreme Beans) which is unusual for a tourist attraction cafe. Staff at the entrance and in the cafe were extremely friendly.

    Really good

We were down for the weekend and brought a ticket via bookme which made it a bit cheaper! Included in our ticket was the kiwi hatchery/barrow tour and our guide was Kahn, The tour was excellent! Lots of information I didn’t know about kiwis and getting to see a baby kiwi up close and personal was awesome! The kiwis were very active. Kahn was a awesome tour guide! He was very friendly, professional, and had a load of information about kiwis and the hatery! The rest of the park was awesome, lots to see and do! The big splash ride was a thrill! I’d recommend this to anyone and would definitely go again!

    Poor

We feel not as advertised and not a lot for a 3 year old, just a few birds and not a Lot more. Very expensive even on a book me deal. Disappointed hence the one star.
