Our guide, Dan, was very knowledgeable and helpful and made this a great experience. Tarawera is an amazing mountain with an incredible history. The walk to the top and into the crater isn’t long and it was fantastic fun. Really recommend this trip!

perfect for all ages... kept 19 year old like myself and few others hooked in for adrenaline pumping run down the mountain... overall amazing day.

Sehr cooler Ausflug!
Diese Tour war wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Man fährt zuerst eine Privatstraße hoch in die Berge und später läuft man dann noch 1h bzw. 150hm zum Gipfel (Rundweg insgesamt etwa 2-3h und 260hm). Die Eindrücke sind umwerfend und man fühlt sich ein bisschen wie am Grand Canyon. Geheimtipp: Bei der Halbtagestour den frühen Slot (8:15 Uhr) nehmen, da ist man im Gegensatz zum Nachmittag eher in einer kleinen Gruppe unterwegs. Die 60€ für die Tour waren auf jeden Fall gut investiert! Kamera und Bergschuhe unbedingt mitnehmen!
