In a plane you go further for less money than a helicopter. The pilot and staff were also great. Flying around Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, seeing the West Coast, all the glaciers and finally landing on the biggest one of them all was the best hour of our trip/year. Like someone else said, if you have to save somewhere else on your trip do it but take this flight.
