Sadly the restaurant was quite empty while we were there - apparently they are a lot busier for dinner, which makes sense as this is a bit more of an upscale, "special occasion" type of restaurant.
The food was pretty good overall.
The soft shell crab bao was nice, and probably the best value for money item we ordered.
The scallops were a bit too salty and seemed like poor value for money if you paid the original price.
Triple cooked chips were really crispy, and they gave us an adequate amount of aioli and ketchup (I always hate it when restaurants skimp on the sauces and I'm left with dry chips at the end).
The lamb duo and chocolate fondant were both excellent.
The mushroom fettucine was a surprisingly large portion. I didn't particularly like the slivers of raw mushroom they added but it was interesting, I guess. It was tasty but I wouldn't order it again
