Take a short 15 minutes boat ride across Lake Te Anau to Brod Bay and the Kepler Track. Enjoy the Kepler Track for a steady 2.5 hours on easy walking trail back to Te Anau following the lakefront through native bush, linking up to the Te Anau Bird Park. Easy day walk suitable for all the family.
Enjoy the stunning scenery and New Zealand nature, perfect for couples, groups of friends and families.
Take a leisurely afternoon stroll from Brod bay back to Te Anau. Locally know as 10km around the bay this is a stunning afternoon walk for all abilities.
Itinerary
- 2:30pm depart from Te Anau by boat
- 2:45pm arrive at Brod Bay
- 2:45 - 5:30pm stroll back to Te Anau at your lesuire taking in the stunning bush, lake vistas and native birds

Awesome experience
We had a great trip to Brod Bay and returned later in the day. Friendly, knowledgeable skipper, thoroughly enjoyed our time on the taxi. Highly recommend

100% recommend!
Smooth process, easy to find and our captain was a really funny guy who gave us some tips for the Kepler! Would definitely recommend. Well oiled machine! (No pun intended haha)
