Take a spectacular evening cruise around the Frankton Arm on-board NZ's iconic vintage steamship, the TSS Earnslaw...
End the day perfectly with a relaxing cruise on-board the TSS Earnslaw, NZ's iconic, 108 year old coal-fired steamship.
The perfect pre-dinner cruise, sit back and relax on the “Lady of the Lake” as she showcases Queenstown's captivating scenery around the Frankton arm while enjoying live music from a local band.
Take a moment to visit the fascinating engine room where you can watch the stokers in action, or visit the on-board mini-museum to see historic photographs and get an insight on the steamships former life. Wine, beer, beverages and snacks can be purchased from the onboard Promenade Cafe and Bar.
In her 106 year history, the TSS Earnslaw has wowed many thousands of tourists, including many illustrious guests such as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip and President Bill Clinton to name just a few.
An experience not to be missed, this breath-taking trip is a fantastic idea for the entire family!
Definitely a part of any visit to Queenstown, 100 yr old working steam driven ship, watch the engines working, great views, very reasonable prices.
The evening cruise was fantastic. The views were amazing and the boat is in great condition
My husband and I absolutely loved this trip - the boat is fascinating, the views incredible, the staff really lovely and the sailing was smooth. 10/10 would recommend!
I would highly recommend this little evening trip! As soon as you get on board you get a free complimentary drink and then you can wonder around the ship or go and sit down and listen to the band. The boat is amazing, you can go into the engine room or outside on the deck and see the captain sailing the ship! This is definitely fantastic value for money and something nice to do before you go for dinner in town.
