Combining a scenic 4WD tour to Paradise and an amazing horse ride through the majestic Dart Valley, this epic half-day journey gives you a true taste of real New Zealand beauty!
This idyllic 50km round trip beginnings at Glenorchy, traveling by 4WD through to Paradise, and up to Mount Aspiring National Park, one of New Zealand’s three World Heritage Areas.
You’ll visit the locations used in the filming of The Lord of the Rings and view locations and backdrops from other Hollywood blockbusters including The Hobbit, Narnia and Wolverine!
Enjoy a short forest walk through Red Beech Trees (used as Ents in the Lord of the Rings) before we head out on our gentle, one hour horse ride of the area.

感觉不错
先是坐大巴从皇后镇到Glenorchy，一路上司机会不停地讲解（当然是英文），同时也会在一个途中点停留一下让游客下车欣赏拍照。到达小镇后，先去选好骑马的帽子和鞋子，如果需要手套也是免费提供的。之后导游带着我们开车去参观一些电影拍摄地，找寻电影里的影子。导游手上有一本资料，里面是当时电影里出现的照片，到一个地方后会对比给大家看。不过因为我对外国电影不是很熟，所以很多没有听懂。在原始森林中也走了一会儿，也介绍了一些当地的居民的故事（如Paradise那个地方），挺有趣的。最后是骑马，因为在报名时，填写了是初次骑马，所以安排的也比较温柔，就是骑着马在河滩上走了1个多小时，如果是会骑马的人，估计可以驰骋一下。
