Tekapo Springs is a multi-faceted attraction overlooking stunning Lake Tekapo.

HOT POOL ENTRY ONLY

We are a natural half way stop between Christchurch and Queenstown - just three hours in either direction.

Ice skate in autumn and winter or ride the snow tube in winter. In summer enjoy the Aqua Drop (150-metre waterslide) and Jumpernaut (giant inflatable obstacle course). Treat yourself at the luxurious day spa then refuel at the Altitude 720 cafe and bar.

We are enviro gold qualmarked and open 364 days of the year.

You choose your pace - relax in the pools overlooking the Lake and Two Thumb Mountain range or get physical on the skating rink and tubing park.

If it is indulgence you are after book a spa treatment, just heaven! Then sit back and relax with a coffee or something stronger in our licenced café - the views are spectacular!

  • Please Note: You must be on time for your discount bookings as they are non-transferable and non-refundable, however, discounted tickets can be used as credit towards a normal priced activity or treatment with the difference being paid directly to Tekapo Springs.

Relaxing day

PLEASANT

This was not my first time to these pools and they were just the same as always. They are pleasantly warm but don't have any healing properties in the water. What makes them special is the setting as the view of Lake Tekapo is beautiful but the back drop to the trees is being spoilt due to some being felled.
