The warm Southern welcome, hearty meals and famous Speight’s tap beers are second to none. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through the quality menu and help you to make the best match with a Speight’s ale.

Speight's Beef Burger: Homemade beef pattie, served with lettuce, tomato, bacon, melted cheese, sliced beetroot and onion rings. Served with fries. The perfect accompaniment is Speight’s award winning Gold Medal Ale.


Beef Schnitzel: Beef schnitzel, lightly crumbed, served on potato mash with Speight’s gravy, caramelised onions and green peas. Best paired with a Speight's Gold Medal Ale


Shearer’s Shanks: Large Tender and delicious, oven-roasted with Central thyme and garlic, topped with Ale House gravy and mint glaze and served on potato mash with a medley of Otago vegetables. This is delicious with a glass of rich, robust Speight’s Porter.


Roasted Vegetable Salad: A selection of root vegetables oven roasted with garlic oil and thyme tossed together with a fresh garden salad, feta and a balsamic glaze


Chicken Parcels: Main Marinated chicken, bacon, peach and soft cheese, wrapped in golden filo pastry, topped with roasted almonds and aïoli on a bed of salad greens. Main served with crispy potatoes.
