Climbing high above the stunning southern alpine scenery in the custom built skydive plane, your incredible scenic flight captures breath-taking 360 degree views of NZ's highest mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers.

Reaching a height of 12,000ft the time arrives to leap with your highly qualified jumpmaster from the perfectly good aeroplane into pure air and the adrenaline rush of a lifetime.

Experience the heart pumping exhilaration of freefall as you reach terminal velocity at an eye watering speed of 200kph. After 45 seconds of freefall the chute opens soaring you smoothly over the beautiful scenery below, landing you safely and gently back at the drop zone.

Allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience

Location

Meet at base: 14 Mustang Lane
Wanaka Airport - 10 mins prior to booked time.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 6
The minimum weight is 30gs/66lbs and minimum height is 1.2metres/47.2inches.
The maximum weight is 115kg/253lbs.
All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
Children 12 years and under will be permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft.
All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master.

This experience welcomes families with children.

Bad Weather Refunds

If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Skydive Wanaka is located at Wanaka Airport, 14 Mustang Lane, 10 minutes from Wanaka on State Highway 6. Approximately 1 hour from Queenstown.

Ein super Erlebnis! Das Team ist entspannt und freundlich, der shuttle hat ohne Probleme geklappt und der Sprung war einfach wunderbar. Die Wartezeit war vielleicht ein wenig zu lang, aber das kann man bei so einem top Erlebnis vernachlässigen

Es war der absolute Wahnsinn. Ich kann gar nicht mehr sagen. Man springt und man denkt sich - mach ich das grade wirklich ? Es ist wirklich eine Erfahrung, die man mal gemacht haben sollte.. Die 'beautiful Strangers' geben dir so viel Sicherheit, dass man es einfach nur genießt. Mein Video werde ich mir noch in 10 Jahren 1000 mal angucken. Werde auf jeden fall wieder kommen und nochmal einen machen, vielleicht aus 15000 ft dann. Macht die Erfahrung !!
