Your professional and highly experienced helicopter pilot will fly you up to the Remarkables mountain range from Queenstown where you will discover the incredible alpine setting often featured as New Zealand's most breathtaking backdrop.

Witness the dramatic scale of the Remarkables up close and personal. Ascend to the top of the ranges, make a landing and have the helicopter shut down for you to jump out and soak up the views of the incredible alpine environment including breathtaking views of Wakatipu Basin. This is where you will take the ultimate photograph. Breathe in the fresh southern air and you may even be lucky enough to enjoy some fresh snow. From there, your helicopter will take off and make its way back to base, showing off the picturesque scenery of Queenstown on the way down.

If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Memorable engagement

Absolutely five star service from the moment we walked through the door. I had planned to propose at the top and gave them a heads up. The pilot was very attentive and gave us plenty of time, then took a bunch of amazing photos for us. The view and feeling from being on top of Cecil Peak is incredible. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should do it, pull the trigger because you won't regret it! Couldn't fault the experience, it was magic. Fantastic trip, would highly reccomend!!!

Purchased a 20 minute flight with alpine landing as a birthday present for my partner! We had the best time ever and were absolutely blown away by the views. I was actually quite nervous but I felt extremely safe in over the tops hands. If your considering this as an activity, just do it… you won’t regret it.

The Most Unbeatable Experience in Queenstown

We chose to fly with over the top helicopters because it stated the remarkable mountains and that they turned off the helicopter so we could fully take it all in. I must say they did not disapoint, by far the best experience ive experienced in queenstown to date. The views were to die for amazing amazing amazing! The easy going pilot steve was great to fly with he made a flight very comfortable & smooth he even became our personal photographer haha I highly recommend booking with over the top Its worth every cent you wont regret it!
