Nomad Safaris have almost 3 decades of experience in providing small and personal tours around this awesome region and are one of the country's most established and respected tour operators.
Join them in a 3.5 hour guided tour that will allow you to explore the untouched terrain of a high country sheep station and marvel at the 360 degree panoramic views of lakes and snow capped mountains when you reach the summit of Queenstown Hill.
With over 25kms of varied trails catering for both beginners and advanced riders you can experience the thrill of freedom and climb to 1000 metres above sea level.
We will pick you up from Queenstown and take you to the base where your expert guides will kit you out, provide full training and adapt the trip to suit your skills.
Whether you're completely new to quad bike riding or are an experienced rider thirsty for more adrenaline pumping action we can cater for all levels of experience.

EPIC!
The whole experience was 10/10. Our instructors were very informative, helpful and a good time! The actual quad riding was an incredible experience and the views just topped it off. Highly recommend this and would definitely do it again

Disappointing experience
General housekeeping: A well run expedition with hotel pickup and drop off as well as safety gear (goggles, protective jacket, pants and boots). Negatives: My mate and I had booked the quad biking tour in winter and the day of the tour happened to be the start of the snow season. Didn’t think too much of it as it clearly says on their site “we go ahead regardless of the weather”. Got picked up from the hotel as per usual and all was well throughout the safety briefing. 30% of the way through the course, instructor gets stuck in knee deep snow and makes the call to turn back. We get told we would get a full refund. We ride the ATV’s back and upon returning to town get told that because the expedition lasted the whole 4 hours, Nomad has done their job of providing a satisfactory experience. Was even told that others would be “frothing” over the experience we had and the onus was on me, the consumer of the service, to call ahead of time and ensure the snow storm would not be impacting our safety. A bunch of bollocks. Frothing over what exactly? If I wanted an experience to wait around for half the tour while standing around in knee deep snow I would take the gondola to the Remarkables not go quad biking. Lesson learnt: No matter how cool it seems and no matter what these guys tell you, don’t bother going ahead with the tour in a snow storm. They’ll make you wait around in poor weather conditions and charge you for it. Plenty of other companies out there that provide a similar experience and won’t charge you unnecessarily.

Awesome Views and an Exhilarating Ride
Quad bike adventure with Nomad Safaris. An epic 2hr tour with breath taking views of Queenstown. It starts with Joe who was thorough in his training where Kate had the confidence to ride the quad to its limit. There were times where we felt Joe was part of our adventure, which makes for a personalized and exhilarating tour. Kia Ora Joe

Nomads quad biking fun
We had fantastic guides Sam & Jo who were very much safety first. They did a great job of explaining & showing us everything so we felt safe & comfortable. Then they took us around a beautiful part of NZ to explore on quad bikes, lots of fun all round!
