You'll start your adventure from Queenstown, embarking on a breathtaking journey along Milford Road by comfortable coach and experience what is known as one of the world's most picturesque drives.
The stunning alpine setting is the perfect backdrop as you enjoy full commentary from your knowledgable driver, stopping at many different points of interest along the way for fantastic photograph opportunities. The Milford Cruise will get you up closer and further than any other cruise in the region, fully immersing you in Milford Sound and all its glory.
Sit back and relax as your cruise sets off to cover the entire length of the stunning 16km Fiord, cruising by some of the most iconic landmarks and natural displays of beauty including Mitre peak, Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Due to the limited numbers of passengers on board, the cruise offers a much more authentic and intimate experience of this world-renowned scenic destination.
Whether sitting inside, or out on our viewing deck, you will have fantastic unobstructed photo opportunities as your friendly skipper provides a fascinating commentary on the highlights along the course of the cruise. After the cruise we will make our way back to Queenstown by Coach, arriving between 7-7.30pm.

Lovely experience
Pam was absolutely lovely. Her voice was quite calming on the coach ride. The ride was quite scenic with lovely stops on the way. But the cruise was also something else. Wish I could have come during the rains to see more waterfalls, but still manages to see 2 permanent ones! Would definitely recommend this more intimate,smaller cruise over the other ones.

Must go!
A must to visit here if you’re visiting the south island. Also our guide was funny and also shared with us a lot of stuff about NZ.

Wonderful experience
Our guide and driver Neville was fantastic! Funny and very informative, shared a lot of interesting insights during our long drive to Milford Sound. Had many stops along the way for great views and also to break up the long drive. The cruise with Mitre Peak was splendid as well thanks to amazing weather (clear skies and sunshine). The boat is small but also spacious, you can opt to sit inside, on the front, back or even on the top of the boat for different types of views. Managed to see penguins, dolphins and seals which was truly such a bonus! Only tip would be to pack your own lunch from Queenstown - the only stop to get lunch is a cafe in Te Anau and their options are pricey and not that great. Overall amazing experience!
