Amazing garden
This garden is absolutely worth your time and visit. Lovingly cared for and a beautiful experience. It so glorious in winter so I can imagine a summer garden in full bloom will be stunning. Warm reception from the owners who took time to show us around their home and the art they have created. Well worth a visit.
This place is 15 minutes from glenorchy and such a wonderful hidden gem. In summer would be beautiful going through the gardens looking around. Very informative host, we got to view the house as well which is amazing, artwork out of sand, repurposed wood, a fish tank in the toilet. Got to see ducks, geese and peacocks, even peacock chicks. It is confusing where to go when you get there but head to the main house and someone should greet you.
We were welcomed by our intriguing host who told us lots about how he had established this adorable garden. It was fascinating and the interactive activities like climbing the ladder up to a very high tree and feeding the peacocks were special. His sculptures all made by our host were amazing...he is a bit of a genius! Highly recommend this secret garden.

A Truely Paradise Moment
We thought we were just going to look at a garden. BUT NO...this was a total mind blowing experience. We were greeted Christine and showed thru their totally unique lodge her husband has worked his artistic woodsmanship talent totally thru out the home. From the fish tank used as the water tank in the toilet to all the crafted wood. The breath-taking view from the kitchen window of the lake.We were shown the 2 Air B&B suites. Then outside to the garden. There was so much to see,it was hard to know which way to look. The gardens just amazing with sculptures doing yoga poses and placed throughout the garden giving the eye something to focus on. The ducks and birds and peacocks calling gave the atmosphere. There was a tree top curved staircase to climb which was amazing to view the property and views over lake Wakitipu. Finally we had the experience of feeding the birds, ducks and peacocks. The peacocks came so close to us and it felt almost intimate watching them put on a show with their feathers all out and their tails wiggling. You could feel the breeze as they turned around. This review I'm doing isn't doing Paradise Dream Garden any justice. It's an unforgettable experience and I totally recommend it to everyone.
