Soar over the amazing Lake Wanaka township and over the incredible glass-like Glendhu Bay on this trial flight experience!
Enjoy the views as you sweep over the lake, skirting past wedge-shaped Mount Iran and the sparkling Clutha River before heading back to base. The Trial Flight is a short 20-minute flight in a small aircraft with an experienced instructor at your side. The qualified instructor guides you through a take-off, flight, and landing, all while having dual control of the plane. The dual control means that you are in the safest hands and the instructor will only give full control to you when you feel comfortable.
No previous experience is necessary as you’re in the safest hands with our highly qualifies and experienced pilot/instructors and can take the controls as much or as little as you like. Everyone can learn to fly, whether you're 10 or 100! Bring up to two friends or family members as passengers to enjoy the ride - free of charge!
This experience is perfect if you’ve always wanted to learn how to fly or if ‘flying a plane’ is a must on your bucket list!

Amazing
I booked this for my partner and he had the best time! Tommy was a fantastic instructor and showed us some of his talented moves! I think I left my stomach up somewhere above Wanaka!! Highly recommend and wish I had booked a longer flight!!

Flying high
Great flight with Tommy extended it to one hour trip reccomend anyone give this a try scenery was fantastic and great fun flying the plane this is a must do when in Wanaka

Absolutely amazing experience
Absolutely amazing experience, Tommy was a great instructor, very friendly staff, one of the best experiences I have ever had. Highly recommend doing this.
