Restrictions

  • Aqua socks are required for Splash Park which must be purchased on arrival - $8 per pair.

    The park is designed for adults, teens and order children who are fit confident swimmers.

    The park is strictly 6+ and children under 10 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

    The Splash park is suitable for 18 months to 6 year olds with no swimming ability required.

    Wearing a life jacket is compulsory and all customers are provided with a life jacket to use for free. We also have highly trained life guards dotted around the water park .

    Playing on the water is an intense workout and people who are injured, pregnant, not confident in open water or have any king of pre existing condition that could hinder their ability to use the water park safely should not go on the water park.

  • Kiwi Water Park:Suitable for all 6 years and over.

    Splash Park: Suitable for 18 months to 6 years. 6 and 7 year olds with no swimming ability can use Splash park

    Please Note: Session includes 30 minutes for briefing and life jacket fitting. Wearing life jackets are compulsory and are provided free of charge. If you have your own life jacket, we recommend wearing it on busy days to reduce the time for fitting everyone with life jackets.

    Open Hours: 11am - 5.30pm everyday.

    Duration: Pass is a 6.5 hour day pass - you can come and go as you like throughout the day.

    Arrival and Parking: Kiwi Water Park is located on the main highway between Cromwell and Wanaka approximately 5 minutes from Cromwell. Entering the water park site directly from the highway is prohibited. Stopping along the state highway is also prohibited. All customers need to enter via the Lowburn reserve right turn bay and walk 350m to the water park. This is to ensure safety as the highway is 100km per hour.

    It is prohibited to park along the highway. If you have a disability and cannot walk the 350m please email us in advance and we can arrange for you to be picked up from the parking area and dropped off at the water park free of charge.

    Day Pass:Arrive and stay for as long as you like within 11am - 5.30pm.

    Safety Rules:

    - No swimming underneath the inflatables.

    - Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    - To participate on the inflatable waterpark you must be a fit strong swimmer.

    - Look before you jump or slide and go around the obstacle course in a clockwise direction.

    - Please do not go on the waterpark if you currently have an injury or health condition.
