In the heart of Queenstown, enjoy an indoor skydiving experience that replicates the conditions of freefalling without getting anywhere near a plane or parachute. iFLY Queenstown’s vertical wind tunnel mimics the freefall wind that makes skydiving possible. Indoor bodyflight is a new and exciting sport that you are sure to fall in love with! Experience the thrill of weightlessly tearing through the sky, without any of the risks or weather concerns.
Before you simulate floating through the sky, you’ll register at reception and sign a waiver. During a training class, iFLY’s friendly, experienced professional instructors will run you through all the basics: how to hold your body while flying, hand signals, and safety procedure. You will then be fitted into a flight suit, gloves, goggles and a helmet.
When you’re ready to catch some serious air, enter the wind tunnel area with the instructor. The airstream safely lifts you off your feet, with your highly trained instructors close by to assist you. You’ll get to try floating and spinning weightlessly in the air, simulating the feeling of freefalling from a plane. As you advance your bodyflight skills, you can learn to use your body to move in the airflow, completely under your own control, like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. This deal gets you three sessions in the wind tunnel and the more you fly, the better you get. During these sessions, you will get to learn more moves and feel your confidence really soar.

Unique experience.
Having often wondered what this would be like, I thought I'd give it a go. Now I know, a unique, safe experience enhanced by the professional and friendly staff at iFly. With the guidance of staff I was able to get airborne and get a degree of control. If, like me, you are not prepared to take the ultimate step from a plane, this will give a small glimpse of that experience without the terror. Great value thru bookme.
