Glenorchy and surrounds has been used as the stunning locations and lands that starred as Middle‑earth on the world stage. Come and experience the magic for yourself through an easygoing 4WD tour along Glenorchy Road - one of New Zealand’s most beautiful roads with untouched scenery and breathtaking backdrops.
The tour follows the deep glacial carved Lake Wakatipu to the base of the soaring Southern Alps. This area is famous for its beauty, and is one of the most scenic drives in the world. You will be guided by a local Queenstowner with 30 years local guiding experience.
Being your very own private tour, we can focus on what you want to see and experience, from movie locations to epic photography sites and general sightseeing.

Pickup: Pickup from Central Queenstown accomodation. Tours depart at 8.00am and 1.00pm. If you are located out of Central Queenstown pickup may still be available; in both cases please advise and reconfirm with the operator
