Not as fun as I hoped
The team at Thrillzone were really helpful and friendly and the kit was professional. You got to walk around the waterfront and the park which was nice. I am sure a lot of work has gone into the game but it was not as good as I hoped it would be. The effects and story were aimed at children but the clues were aimed at adults so it did not seem cohesive. The talking gnome was positively annoying for anyone over ten years old. Maybe we should have had a different game aimed more at adults?

Fun family time
Did the magic portal adventure with our kids age 8, 10 and had a great time, even though we parents did tend to overthink the clues which were aimed more at kids age. Great and friendly customer service too.
