Bike the Wineries and discover the beautiful cycle trails of Gibbston Valley, one of the most scenic wine growing areas you'll ever encounter.

Explore the valley at your own pace or experience the boutique style wineries on a fully guided tour.

Self Guided Tour (Approx 4.5 Hours):

Your journey begins with a pick up from your accommodation before heading out on a scenic drive to Gibbston. Your driver will provide you with a quality bike, helmet and trail map and will be happy to provide insights into the wineries and points of interest you will encounter throughout your journey.

There are a number of starting points to choose from and you have the flexibility to ride as much or as little as you want for the next three and a half hours. Riders are welcome to bring their own lunch or you may wish to eat at the cheesery, tavern or many wineries before your driver collects you for the return journey back to Queenstown.

Guided Tour (Approx 4.5 Hours):

Treat yourself to a fully guided tour of Gibbston Valley and let your tour guide showcase the very best of what this region has to offer including the picturesque Gibbston River Trail. After pick-up from your accommodation, your tour guide will take you on a magical journey to three of the area’s eclectic wineries where we have an opportunity to learn about the history and “personality” of each brand, and sample some of the unique wines produced in the region.

Throughout the journey you’ll get to soak up some amazing valley scenery, hear interesting facts about the region and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch amongst the vines provided by Provisions Café, Arrowtown.

The fully guided tour option includes 3 cellar door visits, picnic lunch, bike and helmet and Queenstown pickups.
