Milford Sound Tour Ex Queenstown including Coach, Cruise and a delicious Kiwi BBQ Lunch.

Milford Sound is undoubtedly one of the most scenic destinations in New Zealand. Set among 3 million pristine acres of the Fiordland National Park, Milford Sound is a 'must-see', with magnificent untouched native forest and bush, pristine waterways and lakes, glaciers and high peaks.

Take a fun, interactive full day tour deep into the lush New Zealand native landscape of the Fiordland National Park. Enjoy lots of sightseeing stops and short walks, before setting off on our boutique smaller cruise boat, which is less crowded and where our local crew offer a much more informative and personal tour of magnificent Milford Sound.

Between May and October the barbeque lunch is served on the boat so you can get out of the cold weather and stay warm and dry. Vegetarian option is also available by request when you make a booking (please add in special requirements as you proceed to check out).

Be sure to look out for wildlife such as seals basking on the rocks, Fiordland Crested penguins and playful dolphins!

Day tour includes:

  • Pick-up and drop offs from centrally located accommodation outlets in Queenstown
  • Small group tour with fun and informative commentary
  • Lots of sightseeing stops and short walks
  • Milford Sound Scenic Cruise
  • Hearty and delicious barbeque lunch

Trip was amazing!

What a fantastic trip! Nigel the tour bus driver was very knowledgeable and fun. Since you are in a small group you get to enjoy things that the big tour buses can't. The food was great. Milford Sounds was breathtaking! I highly recommend this tour!!!

A day long trip

This was a great experience considering we were on a bus for now than 7 hours. The tour guide was knowledgeable and interactive. He kept us busy with all the tit bits all through out the journey. Milford Sound was a great experience esp on a smaller boat with less than 50 people. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Queenstown and wants a less-crowded experience.

Above and beyond

What an awesome way to spend a day! I wouldn't have booked my day to Milford Sound with any other company. Marty was so friendly, funny, and engaging throughout the trip, and he cooked up a mean BBQ. Well worth the money - I cannot recommend them enough!

Great tour company

Nigel our driver and tour guide was great. He is very knowledgeable, on the way to Milford sounds he provided very interesting information and also made a few stops to enable us to take photos. Another benefit of going with the BBQ bus is that you are with smaller groups.. There were just 15 of us. After the cruise my husband and I flew back to queenstowns. One of the best $390 we spent as the views were amazing apart for reaching Queenstown under 30mins as opposed 3-4 hrs driving.
