Soar over the beautiful Southern Alps with your professional gliding instructor accompanying you throughout your journey!
Let me take you on a trial instructional flight, during which time you will be soaring above local mountains, rivers and lakes. You will be also encouraged to take control and have a go yourself!
You will receive a full briefing about the glider, its controls and the basic instruments before climbing on board and aero towing to the local mountains. Detailed explanation on how glider pilots find rising air, and how to utilise them will be given. There may be an opportunity to extend the flight, depending on conditions, just talk to your instructor. It will be a truly unforgettable experience and our aim is to spark your interest in this amazing sport.
We have a great club and some very experienced pilots, and progressing further in the sport with our club -or other NZ clubs- is highly encouraged.

Gliding experience
Milan was an absolutely professional and really knows his stuff. This is definitely an experience not to be missed and Milan will make you feel safe and comfortable through the whole glide.. Thanks for being so accommodating Milan and will have to come out and do another session with you again in the future.

Special experience
It was a such amazing flight with Milan. An introduction to the glider would be given and you got chance to control the flying. The weather was pretty good and the views were spectacular.
