Hole in the Rock Experience

Andrew Blaikie said... We had seen the leaflets for this trip and as we were coming to the end of our holiday in New Zealand thought this would be a great trip. Having booked online, we went to the operators office near to the quay. The staff were helpful in advising opportunities to get off on the return part to spend time on one of the beautiful islands which we did. The crew were friendly and the journey out to the Hole was great with commentary about what to expect and see including the wildlife. We were taken to the Hole but unfortunately on the day the sea state was not safe to go through the hole but the Captain took us as close as possible on both sides of the rock so we had a marvellous view of this feature. We also had a close view of a lighthouse, seals and fishes around the island. We had glorious sunshine, blue sky and superb views. We broke our return visit on an island for which was idyllic and we enjoyed refreshments and a pleasant short stay. I would highly recommend this trip as a part of your stay in New Zealand.
