Had a peaceful journey with a bit of history passed on.Dave made awesome home made scones with a cuppa half way Good day out
We were pleasantly surprised by this experience. It was fun to be riding through the countryside and learning about the history of the Dargaville area. The guides were fantastic - hilarious and made the experience enjoyable. The offerings of tea, coffee and delicious baking were appreciated too. We hope to bring back the rest of our family and maybe do the more extended tour they have to offer.
Great family day out. Enjoyed hearing about the railways history and Dave's scones were delicious.
I booked on book me and it said there were 12 places left. The booking accepted my payment and I received a confirmation booking. Later that day I received an email from the operator saying they were fully booked. We had originally book this day as the weather was due to be fine. We were offered the following day but it was raining heavily.
thank you very much

Very enjoyable
An enjoyable and informative trip, with some track maintenance thrown in for added excitement - trees down on the tracks and a few cattle walking alongside. Great scones for lunch, thanks.
