Whangarei's Big Cat Wildlife Park provides a range of unique and informative escorted walking tours for visitors.
Feeding Tour: An actioned packed adventure where you will see all of the big cats devour their meat. (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)
Enrichment Tour: See the lions and tigers at play who are stimulated, curious and displaying unique behaviour as part of the Zion Enrichment Programme. (Wednesdays and Sundays)
Established in 2002 by Craig Busch, The Lion Man, the park now has a vast array of rare and endangered animals, including:
Your guides will share with you the family history and characteristics of these majestic animals whilst you marvel at their beauty up close and personal as most of the animals are just a few feet away.
Listen to the lions roar before or after your tour in the parks picnic area where snacks, ice creams and soft drinks are available.
