Bay of Islands Waterfall Cruise & Kayak
Our riverboat takes you to the calmest of waters where it is easiest to learn - kayak through mangrove forests or paddleboard face to face with an amazing waterfall!

Our boat takes you to the best locations & makes kayaking easy!
We cruise for around 30 minutes along our local island coastline & 3km up a meandering river that in days gone by sailing ships loaded Kauri logs. Guests transfer to kayaks to explore up close, paddle through mangrove forests or photograph seabirds feeding their nesting babies in trees hanging over the river. Our final destination is where a waterfall drops into the sea & if you dare, paddle up to or under the waterfall.
This option is great for beginner levels or anyone looking to have more time to explore the local bird colonies, mangrove forests and waterfalls.
No prior kayaking experience is required, although we are mindful that not everyone in your family may be confident to kayak. Our Safety vessel is comfortable, always in calm waters & is on hand if anyone needs a rest…

Cruise+kayak
They had issue with break down and then informed me just a day before 6pm. And i applied for the paddling but no paddling and did kayak instead. Not organized well. Cruise itself was small too but its alright. The tour was not bad. Super friendly guide.

Hi there Jinhok, Seems like you have your story confused. Your friend was told about our breakdown as soon as it happened, a few hours later you decided to yell abuse at our staff. We offered you a refund as we like to be understanding & obviously breakdowns happen some times. You were also asked to please be polite or you were not welcome to join us as we have other guests aboard. Thank you for joining us but please remember that in New Zealand we respect others & show love to all. Good lesson for you Thanks again Captain - Owner Taylor

Waterfall cruise & Kayak
What we did was nice, but was not what we paid for. It is advertised as a 30 minute cruise, then transferring into kayaks, with an optional photo pack. There was no boat, and no cruise and you had to use your ph to take photos. We paid extra for wetsuits (thinking it would b cold). There are no wetsuits. We just kayaked to the waterfalls and back with a guide. I feel like we should receive a partial refund.
