Currently the largest indoor real rock wall in New Zealand, this has to be tried! Whether you’re 2 or 6 feet tall, there’s a harness waiting for you.

No matter if you’re a beginner or an expert, there’s room for you on this wall. Give it a shot!

The trained staff will show you how to climb and belay (the safety person on the end of the rope). There’s options for bouldering, to top rope, to lead climbing routes, they can accommodate up to 90 people on the wall at any time.

Best of all, there is no age limit. From infants to the elderly - if you’re walking, you can be climbing!


Your hire fee includes harness.

Notes

  • Please Note: Belayers must be 12 years of age or older. Climbers under 14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. If unsure ask for help at any time. If Lead Climbing you must have a certificate of competency from Fergs Kayaks (regardless of climbing or belaying ability).

    Important: 2 climbers are required, so someone can hold your safety rope.


  • The price does not include shoes. You can purchase on the day for$6 per person.

Rock Climbing

My partner has always wanted to do indoor rock climbing, so for his birthday he got his wish. A very cool experience and great deal with Bookme. Staff were amazing at making sure you felt comfortable etc

Kids loved it!

Bought this experience for my daughters (10 and 12) and my husband. They all had a great time and said they'd love to go back again. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave them a short lesson in how to belay. It's just a shame there's nowhere to sit and watch if you're not joining in!
