Kia ora Ronak, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you enjoyed your walk and will take your suggestions into consideration! :-)
Some pressure to catch the boat in time with little kids in tow (6 & 3), but we made it fine on the 1hr 45m walk in 2 hours with a few piggybacks! Boat ride was lovely, amazing skipper (staff in general were fabulous). Souvenir shop has some lovely stuff.
We booked this experience with bookme for 4 of us and had an amazing full experience of waimangu volcanic Valley. Fully recomend booking this tour through bookme. Totally happy to visit this place and have video to show our experience from my travel blogger mate from Malaysia. Below is the link. Thank you Bookme. https://travelwithlens.com/waimangu-volcanic-valley/
Nice nature walk for a bit of exercise. But the fact you have to pay so much for it makes it very underwhelming. The boat ride barely has anything interesting to look at. Timing wise everything works really well. No waiting around for the boat or bus which was very impressive and made the experience tolerable. Staff are all amazing and the path is well maintained and really easy to walk on. But again… the price seems ludicrous. Perhaps if the boat ride offered a swim it might be more interesting.
Walk OK, No need for x-tra hiking, nothing to See there. Needed about 1 and a half to the boat. Boat trip was ok as Well, nothing spectacular. Volcanic stuff... A lot of bus Traffic destroys the 'magic' as well. Would definitely not recommend for full price.

Really worth a trip
We went here for first time and were not disappointed. The walk was really nice with so many locations to see on the way to the jetty. Only downside was they need to upgrade the boat as the viewing deck was small and also they need more food and beverages selections when they upgrade the boat. Otherwise its must visit site when in Rotorua. Its really flat and easy walk.
