Had to try on 3 pairs of skates before I found ones in which the buckles weren't faulty or dangerously fidgety. Whilst skating, the ankle buckle on my right skate came completely loose, causing me to lose control and fall. Luckily I was fine, but this is a safety concern. Also genuine WARNING: strong strobe lights that are disorienting and a very high risk for anyone with epilepsy or prone to seizures. This is another safety concern. Please stop the strobes! They disorient everyone on the ice.
I love ice skating, and appreciate having a rink in my neck of the woods. But Paradice has gone downhill with their quality and care, and I'd love to see this addressed,
