Explore the very best of Waiheke Island with the unique aspect of combining an on-island experience with Sea Kayaking.

You'll discover beautiful beaches and vineyards, hidden coves, scenic coastlines, beach picnics and indulge in a range of renowned wine tastings. All this is the perfect combination of kayaking and getting amongst the island's natural and cultural allure.

Itinerary

  • Meet at Maraetai Boat Ramp 10:00, organise clothing and equipment, learn how to use your kayak.
  • Start paddling. Slow and steady, no rush - 7km sea kayaking & fishing (1 hour)
  • 2 hour native bush walk and visit to waterfalls
  • 3-course meal and drinks at Batch Winery
  • Private Glamping among the Vineyards! Enjoy the sunset over the Hauraki Gulf and Auckland City skyline. Slide into your comfortable and warm bed.
  • Return back to the Auckland mainland - 7km sea kayaking & fishing (1 hour)
