Motuihe

Everything went fine. However, it would have been nice to have some running commentary and explaining something about the surroundings, the names of the islands, buildings etc. Also, parking is $32 at the Westhaven Marina. We should have gone to the under the bridge area and parked but had no time to get back and forth after parking there when we realised last minute how expensive the parking was. No information about parking costs were provided at the time of booking or later. So, its not five stars. Waste of money on parking.

A little piece of paradise

You can’t start a morning off better than Pink Floyd and a Red Boat journey. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew made it so much more personal than a Fullers trip. Motuihe Island is stunning in its simplicity, it’s hard to believe it was a Navy training establishment! Walking tracks are easy but I would suggest good footwear as it’s not all ‘hard’ path. The beach selection is stunning. I can see why there’s a flotilla of small boats moored. All in all a great day out.

Motuihe trip

Pleasant island it was cool to explore a place havent done before Easy walks exploring and some pretty beaches. Wouldn't rush back but glad we went. Boat was 25 mins late getting to pick us up which sucked.the red boats crew are always really lovely. The weather wasn't on our side as it was very rocky on the sea and over cast.

Pretty average

The boat trip was not bad at all. The red boat crew are helpful and friendly. The island itself is pretty average. If your thing is lying on the beath all day then this place is for you. Very little shade and it can get hot. Took 2 kids they seemed to enjoy the experience
