Calling all adventure lovers!

Experience sensory overload as you embark on an exciting 3 day expedition that showcases the beauty of Fiordland National Park by way of hiking, helicopter and cruise.

Based in Te Anau, Fiordland Tours have you covered each day with morning tea and lunch, plus expert guides along the way ensuring you get the best out of this unique experience.


Day 1: Heli Hike including “The Kepler Track” Highlights

Departing from your Te Anau accommodation at 9.30am, start the adventure with a bang as you take an amazing helicopter flight over Lake Te Anau and a group of hidden lakes only visible from the air.

We land on Mt Maury where you'll have 10 minutes to soak up magical views, then we land again at the Luxmore Hut where you start the hike through amazing alpine landscapes with your expert guide.

After returning to Luxmore Hut, enjoy a delicious morning tea and relax, then take an optional hike to the top of Mt Luxmore before descending through lush bush and trees and arriving finally at your boat cruise which takes you across Lake Te Anau back to Te Anau township, returning approximately at 4pm.


Day 2: Key Summit on “The Routeburn Track”

After departing from your Te Anau accommodation at 8.30am, we take a journey by van along the famous Milford Road toward "The Divide" separating Eglinton Valley and Hollyford Valley

Here we explore the bush on a leisurely walk along a track, soaking up unique views on our way up to Key Summit. A delicious morning tea and lunch will be provided at chosen points by your guide. On arriving at the summit, you'll be in awe at the views across glacier carved valleys and mountains.

We finish the walk heading down to Lake Howden before heading back to "The Divide", returning to Te Anau at approximately 4.30pm.


Day 3: Milford Sound Extraordanaire with Nature Walks on Lake Marian & Hollyford Tracks

Departing from your accommodation at 7.30am, we take an incredible scenic journey by van along the Milford Road stopping at 17 different locations and enjoying informative and interesting commentary.

On return to the van, we travel to the end of the Hollyford Road, where you will get a taste of the first part of the Hollyford Track followed by a walk up to the Humboldt Falls which have an incredible continuous 175-meter drop to the valley floor. You'll also enjoy a tasty morning tea with date scones, biscuits and a hot drink.

Next we take a boutique nature boat cruise spending 2 hours soaking up Milford Sounds world class scenery with a complimentary tea or coffee and tasty lunch on-board. See fascinating wildlife including possibly Seals, Dolphins and the Fiordland Crested Penguin, plus ruggedly stunning scenery and spectacular waterfalls along the way.

After the adventure is over, we take you back to your accommodation arriving at approximately 6pm - right in time for dinner!

    Whilst two nights is the minimum, we suggest that you plan to stay for four nights in Te Anau.Whilst dinner is not included with our package, we are able to help with organising dinner reservations and offer our well-researched suggestions.
