Soak up the amazing panoramic views as you climb 450 meters high above Queenstown by Gondola before reaching the Ziptrek treehouse where your adventure begins.

You'll experience 6 tree to tree ziplines each with unique alpine vistas as an amazing backdrop - ideal for nature lovers and those looking for a more intense eco-adventure. On our most intense zipline you'll achieve exhilarating speeds of up to 70kph as you zip down the mountain - the steepest in the world!

Your helpful Ziptrek Ecotour guides are passionate about this stunning natural environment and will share with you interesting facts and educational information about the area.

Duration

  • Allow approximately 3 hours for the whole experience

Location

  • The Ziptrek Treehouse is located at the top of Skyline gondola. Please turn left and walk approximately 300 feet (100 metres) from the Skyline top terminal building
  • just past the helipad.

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 6
  • Minimum weight: 30kg. Maximum weight: 125kg.

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • Gondola Lift: This ticket does not include the gondola lift ticket and will need to be purchased separately. We recommend a minimum of 40 minutes to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal, or at least 60 minutes in peak times.

    Consent Form: All guests MUST complete their Participant Consent Form before arriving at our Treehouse for check in, a link to this is available upon checkout. Anyone 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult (15+) when going on any Ziptrek Ecotour.

    Guests are required to wear closed-toe footwear and encouraged to bring another layer of clothing. Queenstown is an alpine environment - please come prepared for the conditions!
