“A World Exclusive Experience” – 2 flights in one, take a Helicopter and Ski Plane flight onto the spectacular Tasman Glacier with the pioneers!
Amazing trip. Up to the Glacier in a chopper. Back by skiplane. Incredible views of this majestic place.
If you are thinking of doing this experience then book it now!!! We knew it would be incredible but it was even better than we imagined!! The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly & kind yet professional! We had the perfect day with blue skies and no wind. Check in was so easy then we were into the helicopter and up in the air, travelling over the Tasman Lake to the Tasman glacier. The scenery is absolutely incredible and once we landed on the glacier we had plenty of time to take photos and video. The pilots were so lovely and gave us such interesting information! It was so emotional being so close to the mountains, especially Mount Cook…. Travelling back on the ski plane was such a rush whizzing down the glacier as we took off!! This was the best thing we have ever experienced in our life - absolutely unforgettable!!
The team they are chaeaters .you buy a combo deal for helicopter and ski plane but they will only offer you only one when you reach at there site . It happened to me and my mate . My mate booked for Saturday and I booked on Sunday. They make excuse by offering us one and embarrasse us by saying you already getting a cheap deal through book me . Please be aware and confirm about the combo .
We were emailed on the day of the ski plane cancellation. As we were on the road, no chance to get a good signal to open the email. Arriving there, we have no idea that our ski plane has been cancelled, and the crew never informed us again about it regardless if we managed to read the email or not. Upon checking the ski plane package, we were told that it was cancelled and no refund will be made as we also took the heli exp for 45 mins. But the point is the package for heli and ski plane are two different pricing. As for heli only for 45mins is 259NZD while Heli + Ski plane charged us for about 346NZD. It was really a disappointing arrangement from the operator of Inflite

Great Flight, Sub-Par Pre-Flight
The helicopter flight, land on the glacier, and return helicopter flight were absolutely astounding and I can't rate them highly enough. The pilot was lovely. It was great to be able to do this for a reduced cost compared to usual. Before the flight was much less good. You are told to arrive an hour before the flight. 10mins before this (so we'd already arrived), our flight was delayed by another hour, so we had 2hours to wait. Also informed it would be helicopter only as too windy for the plane. I felt we had essentially paid extra for the experience to have both vehicles, so understand the safety concerns but felt short-changed, as no other info was given about this. Eventually arrived 30mins before our new time as advised, but had to wait about 50mins before flying. Essentially lost the whole morning to sitting waiting for the flight to happen with minimal information. Basically, I would book your trip knowing that the time and nature of it could be changed at very short notice.
